MAKING A BOOKING
Lewis county residents can reach us at 360-736-7883. All other callers dial 1-888-873-8688 and ask for reservations. The reservations department is open from 9:00am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday. Be prepared to give your name, address, the number of people attending and the date of the tour. A confirmation will be sent in the mail. Office will be closed for annual vacation from December 22nd, 2006 to Jan 2nd, 2007. Tours are designed for mature adults over 40, but younger guests may accompany you with permission of the management. Most tours are not suitable for guest sunder 12 years of age. Please call for verification before booking.

PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP
Proof of citizenship is needed for all tours outside the United States including Canada and Mexico. Proof of citizenship for Mexico and Canada should be in the form of a passport or a state issued birth certificate with a drivers license. All other countries require passport and some an additional visa.
A passport is required for all cruises and will be required for all countries in 2007. Get one today!

TIPPING ON TOUR
Tipping is a personal decision and not a requirement, it should be earned for excellence in service. Please do not pass the hat. On day tours a basket is available to you on the dashboard of the coach and on longer tours please use the survey. Since the drive rand tour manager work as a team the gratuity is shared.
$1.00 per person for day trips &
$2.00 for overnight tours for the Driver.
$1.00 per person for day trips &
$2.00 for overnight tours for the Escort
$1.00 per person per day for Step-on guides
$1.00 per person per day for maids or other service staff used.
Discovery includes gratuities on included meals, a 10% for buffet service & 15% for table service which has met your expectations is appropriate for non-hosted meals. Discovery Tours pays the gratuity for all luggage handling on overnight tours.

Join Our Discovery Tours Frequent Travelers Club
If you travel with us more then four times a year this program will save you money. A one time $20.00 set-up fee gets you your gold name badge. You then begin receiving money off your tours and earning awards and discounts for each tour you take. Need a Roommate?
If you would be interested in sharing the cost of the tour you must book and be willing to pay as a single. We will mark your reservation willing to share. If another person registers willing to share we will put you in touch with each other. You must call back to request rooming together and we will not be responsible for your compatibility. Let us know the smoking preference. Please remember roomies just that, someone to share your room with. They are not care-takers or best friends. Respect each others need for private time and space. You may just come home with a new friend having discovered the world through another's eyes.

DISABILITIES & DIETARY RESTRICTIONS
Any physical disability requiring special assistance boarding the coach must be reported at time of booking and at least 72 hours prior to departure. Any passenger requiring special assistance for a mental or physical limitation must be accompanied by a traveling companion who is capable and responsible for such assistance. Dietary restrictions must be called into our office at least 72 hours in advance and although we try and accommodate these requests it is not always possible, so please bring with you or be prepared to locate items you may need.

Passenger’s Rules & Responsibilities

Do not wear any perfumes or colognes on the coach. Many people are allergic to scents. Singles be ready and willing to share your seat as most departures run completely full. Seats may be rotated for tours 1 night or longer with 30 or more passengers. If someone enters the coach with walking difficulties, please offer them your seat near the front and choose another further back. Disruptive or ill passengers may be asked to leave a tour at their own expense. No smoking or alcohol use in the coach. Do not share your complaints with other passengers, what you may not enjoy could be the highlight of the tour for others. Anyone repeatedly breaking these rules will be removed from the mailing list. Federal & State law requires the dr iv-ers take breaks, you must exit bus at these times. For security the bus must be locked and all passengers off at stops made on the tour.You must provide your legal first and last name when booking a tour with air, cruise or rail or if we are leaving the country.

The tours outlined will be carried out by Discovery Tours. Discovery acts only as an agent for hotels, carriers, independent contractors & suppliers which provide services for the clients. Discovery does not assume any responsibility nor shall it be liable for any loss,cancellation, cost, delay, accident, injury or damage to a person or the property of a client arising from our service or the service of one of our providers. We maintain the right to cancel, alter or change any tour or the components of a tour that we deem necessary .Discovery reserves the right to withdraw a tour at any time at their discretion, at which time the amount paid would be refunded to the client. Rates are based on current tariffs and are subject to change until final payment is made. Discovery Tours & our partners provide parking as a service only and are not responsible for damages, towing or theft of your vehicle. Discovery tours offers independent cancellation insurance. We accept no responsibility for the actions of the Insurance Company. Claims must be filed directly with the insurance company and any refund due will be issued by the insurance company and not by Discovery Tours. We reserve the right to remove any passenger from a tour for disruptive behavior or ill health. The passenger will be responsible for charges incurred to return home. Payment of a tour means acceptance of this policy. If extra charges are incurred for circumstances beyond our control, you will be responsible to pay them.
